So those that now like the sunbelt but used to not like it and want to move tell those that always wanted to stay in sbc vs any other g5 that they were right all along?
I was never hell bent on leaving the SBC, but would have been for it, depending on the circumstances, prior to some of the other G5 conferences falling apart. But as I stated earlier, the landscape of the NCAA today is nothing like it was just a few short years ago. Today, the SBC is possibly the best G5 league (certainly no worse than 2nd best) with the most upside of all of them. So, once again, it is my opinion that the SBC is the best place for the Cajuns other than a P5 league!

I agree it is nothing like before, but in other circles wouldn't that be called vision or being ahead of their time?

A lot of the credit goes to our current commissioner, and the prior one. Include forward thinking CEO presidents and some blind luck. Incredible how this conference took off with the addition of App, and GS.

My plan included an annual game against BYU.

Now that the pseudo league of independants has shrunk even further, my old plan is not doable.

There's a big difference between being a 13 seed in the NCAA tournament and being a 16.

    Please stop.
Some folks just have trouble with the facts, Jay.
