. . . I heard a radio piece on 96.5 where they discussed two occasions where DTD are partnering with UL to get fans and students involved. This was one. The other is Gulf Brew where they said shuttles will be provided to encourage attendance at homecoming from Gulf Brew.

Kudos to all involved to make that happen.

I can't remember when it stopped but back then the Advertiser distributed the Vermilion.

The best Downtown Alive was when then USL hosted Texas A&M. The whole weekend was awesome and started with Downtown Alive followed by the great win.

….l.lThings really were different back when the Dean of Students (Coach Blanco) led the males from their dorms to the ladies dorms for a panty raid……don’t know why that I don’t think that will happen again….well maybe the ladies to the men’s!
