This explains why student attendance has been so bad in the last couple of years.

It reminds me of the McKinley street strip. It became a ghost town overnight once they stopped letting 18 year olds enter the scene

Is this confirmed to be true?

99% of the college football stadiums in America are on campus. If a student walks by it every day they may be more inclined to go. On campus stadiums would give alumni a better feeling of coming back when tailgating in places like the Quad or next to Cypress lake….

Yup. And a few of us could pass for 18 when we hit driving age…

Are the Frosh not welcome to tailgate only during week 1? Or the entire season?

Wow. Interesting. Thanks for update. He is a curveball, what I'd the date is a freshman?

So non students (or students of other sxhools) who also are not dates are not allowed at all either?

Bc if I were a freshman and they ask to see my ID I could just say, worry don't have one?
Also what if someone is 25-28, served in Iraq, and is going to school for first time as a new freshman on the g.i. bill

At our tent, when greek tailgating was still with the rest of Cajun Nation (not across the red sea on the practice field) we'd be boiling, frying and bbq'n on three pits. Bunch of couches from the camp, huge peavey speakers and kegs. Never a fight, never a disrespect to the U, just a bunch of students with a bunch of beautiful ladies, some loud AC/DC and the very definition College Football in the South.

Where else do you bring your American, Louisiana, Acadiana and Cajuns Football flag, plant them in the ground and crack open a cold beer.

    LFG.

No. From what I am told everyone can go to the tailgate. But freshman cannot go to any of the individual fraternities TG areas because of rush next week. So if 90% of the TG gatherings taking place are Greek organizations that doesn’t give them much to do at the TG.The organizations will have to wear arm bands for game one is what i have been told.

Exactly so don’t give me the liability bs, there are 18,000 other students who could get drunk and kill someone

Why don't they just have rush in week 3 or 4? I seem to recommend it wasn't the first week?
