For 1901-1920 let's go with the Southwestern Louisiana Football Team or SLII Football Team, or another designator.
Check out the '01 written on the pigskin.
You are correct T.

Moving them across the street was one of the things that killed tailgating and students turnout and they still don't get it. You can't have your future fanbase banished to purgatory and expect them to stay engaged. Tailgating is sporadically spread all over the place killing the atmosphere. If your gonna open up Tigue then the stage needs to the focal point and all the spots need to be pulled in closer. West side of the Stadium needs to mirror Reinhart Drive. Cox needs to be torn down and students need to be right there in front of the IPC. That's how you bring back tailgating
USL wasn't nearly this ____ up.
At least you had a good game day atmosphere, fan participation, Greeks very much on board, decent teams, decent schedules, pep rallies back in the day at The Keg, a real Homecoming parade that people would get excited about, a packed Blackham Coliseum in the early 70's with Shipley and Lamar and company, Roy Henry in the late 70's and plenty of other great USL memories.
Now we don't even have an identity state wide as most still don't know what to call this place, we can't come up with a mascot, we can't seem to raise money in a timely manner and yet we think we're supposed to be LSU or "That school across the Basin" like many refer to it as. That's a pipe dream but delusion prevails as always.
So yeah, a lot of us older people will take the old USL days as opposed to this administrative cluster ____ that we have today.
Please don't shoot the messengers.
Alcohol at university events is a huge liability. One under-21 kid sneaks one drink at a Greek party, gets killed or kills somebody, it will make national news and the whole university will be pulled into it.
Don't get mad at UL. We didn't create this problem.
I wonder if the Greek community were to commit to and abide by a 100 percent no hazing policy if there would be less of an issue. Of course charity work would be the exception.
. . . Fun is right . . . MADD and social media have ruined football . . .
