I'm not surprised with anything our alumni assoc screws up...after all, this is the group that can't seem to use the correct name of the school in any announcement or activity..

There were some individuals in UL shirts conducting a survey in the tent last year for a game. The paper I was handed asked something to the tune of “what year did you graduate ULL?” I said to the person who handed me the survey “no one has ever attended ULL.” The person actually tried to tell me that this was the proper abbreviation. Didn’t want to make it a thing, but I asked him to go one the university website and look up proper references. It’s seemingly innocuous, but just makes you want to put your face in your hands and say “really, Alumni tent?”

Could it possibly be something that they generally use during Mardi Gras? That looks to be Mardi Gras purple more than LSpuke purple.
