Thread: Friday's Scrimmage

  1. Default Re: Friday's Scrimmage

I was there Friday. Here is my take.

Ben is the clear #1 and probably the most consistent of all 3. Zeon has the biggest arm. To me fields is a solid backup. But I noticed a could have things. His release is really long and seems to take too long to make decisions.

The real question is next year who is the backup or starter. Winfield after an extra year could really compete vs the other 2.

I saw one throw to what looked to be, from the video, quadruple coverage

He just knocked off his night shift at Wendy's. Might have to cut him some slack.

I believe they fed the team after it was over. That is how Boomer is able to give a small report. Yes, thanks to him for letting us know a little something.
Fridays practice was open to everybody regardless of ticket status.

That’s what the email said and I’m sure the vast majority of the people there were season ticket holders and players families. But they surely were not checking at the gate to see who was a season ticket holder.

You can invite season ticket holders through an email and still be open to everyone.

Doesn't seem to be what happened. From what I saw on social media it was open to season ticket holders and if that was in fact not the case they should have been more clear on it.

My statement is still true regardless and its not like they were going to have people at the gates checking tickets.

There were a few different things floating out there. My email said season ticket holders. I saw a social media post say open to the public that didn’t say anything about needing tickets. I personally don’t understand why anyone not interested enough to buy season tickets would be interested in watching practice. I mean we talking practice.
