…..won’t say much about it except that the young skilled guys are impressive…..not expected as a guest to report on it and therefore honor the staff’s intentions……glad they moved the start time back as the wind tunnel did its job in the stands!

A little clarification here. Friday's session was a regular practice open to season ticket holders. There is no true tackling in most practice sessions and that was the case Friday. Saturday was a true scrimmage in which tackling is allowed. It was closed to the public. However the Gridiron Club members (made up of ex players) was allowed to attend. I believe they fed the team after it was over. That is how Boomer is able to give a small report. Yes, thanks to him for letting us know a little something.

They were bad. The 4 wins 3 were against terrible teams. Lamar Houston christian and texas A&M commerce. They had a decent win vs. Nicholls. Other than that they were beat down in almost every game. The regained this years team with a ton of transfers. I will be putting out my preview soon.

Damn good to see those with the insider knowledge keep the Cajuns confidential.

No I was not at any scrimmage last night, nor involved in any contingent invited to the show. Just a poor Cajuns fan who saw the lights on while leaving Rouse's. I saw the light!

This post was meant to follow Boomer's. No friendly fire whatsoever to any soul.

I was there Friday. Here is my take.

Ben is the clear #1 and probably the most consistent of all 3. Zeon has the biggest arm. To me fields is a solid backup. But I noticed a could have things. His release is really long and seems to take too long to make decisions.

The real question is next year who is the backup or starter. Winfield after an extra year could really compete vs the other 2.

I saw one throw to what looked to be, from the video, quadruple coverage
