Maybe it had more to do with being over 100 degrees on a Friday than not caring! I would have liked to go but had other plans already. That won't be the case for football games.

Had a huge breeze blowing in on the west side. Very hot but still very comfortable.

Gonna be a long season.

If the team wins big, They will enjoy the season, fans that show up will enjoy it, and the fans watching on tv will enjoy it. in this scenario, the season wont be long enough, everyone is having a good time. People that dont show up, wont determine if the season is long or not. That said it sure would be nice to have a strong attended season again.

Yeah. Idk how many were actually there but the Ri-chards were in the box(about 10 of us) and all the other boxes prolly had some people. There was also a lot of people just walking around

It was actually pleasant with the breeze. Well about as pleasant as could be. Ribbon board is a nice touch. Sucks that it’s behind the light posts. The field looks terrible. Endzones are darn near pink. Beers were cold though!

I said this would happen when they changed the field just a few years ago. Red fades the fastest of any color and it looks horrible. The old black end zones looked much better for longer. We at the very least should reach out to Hellas and have the end zones and mid field logos replaces every few years to account for the fading issues.

Just paint the darn endzones. The SBC logo is nice and bright on the field.

Hopefully, they install the new turf that can be painted like what's in the Louisiana. Superdome. Just touch it up when needed or paint the end zones with the opponents branding. I think that would be a cool throwback to the 60's / 70's.
