Same applies to UL. We could have Bob, Boyd, or freaking Santa Clause in the job. Got to have a solid NIL, or it will always be what it is. Every coach will have distractors...even Santa.
We are having an NIL function in October for UL basketball supporters.

Butts in seats don’t match this, but that is true for all sports. That 2,708 number is very respectable nationally. It’s above average in our conference and in the vast majority of non-P5 conferences. Football on the other hand is below average in our league and abysmal on a national scale. I see this as an ultra-conservative approach.
1/5 of your arena capacity is terrible.

A healthy program sells 1/3rd of your seating capacity in season tickets. A thriving program can sell 50%.

We aren’t remotely close in our two major sports. Football is a university problem and basketball is a coach problem.

...and who said you were invited to the Tailgate? KIDDING !!!!!, but seriously, bring a donut or a link of boudin at least as tribute. I will also accept an alcoholic beverage.
How recently has this resignation and reassignment happen?

Well if we look at attendance in comparison to venue size, basketball has a serious venue issue, and as critical as I am of Bob, that cannot be placed at his feet. Even if we were to get to the 4,500 number you mentioned earlier, we would still be operating at less than 40% full. My pipe dream in that regard would be a venue identical to what McNeese just built with MAYBE 1,000 more seats. Baseball, football, and basketball are oversized at this point. It would be nice to play in an appropriately sized venue for once.

    None were oversized when conceived
