That's a hell of an extension. I hope Coach counts his blessings

I'd rather Joe get 4 more years. JBE for that matter. No need to respond to this. Stick to the thread topic 🤣

I’m really perplexed as to what y’all were really expecting. Bobby big tilapia goes to the big dance and what? Y’all want the fish fried? Lol

Success is winning a conference championship and we did.
This post would be justified had we not, but we’ve played in the conference tournament final in back to back years, in case you forgot.

A contract is a contract and should be honored, but winning a conference tournament should bonus worthy, not be "extention" worthy.

Everyone knew it was coming, not worth the rise in blood pressure, real or assumed.

Rewarding a coach yet putting the coach on a short leash does not happen unless the coach is an idiot with off the court public drama.

Quit acting like the program sucks.
1 20 win season in the last 5 years. Let’s talk about that stat.

So remaining year on current contract plus 3. Four more years. Strap in.
And this is why will never be in a major conference. This University is not serious!

Very well deserving for a great man and a great representative of our university.

So when his program has mostly underperformed we keep the guy because of his character and not because of his lack of wins?

VObserver, what's Marlin's record against the RPI (now net) top 150? Also, what's his record against 150+? You can make numbers say whatever you want. Happy we made the dance last year with a once-in-a-decade type talent, but 4 more years? Hmmm
