We stayed there in June. Nice clean hotel. A ways from downtown. Maybe 10-15 minutes to stadium.

If I remember correctly, it is a little further than the Holiday Inn at the airport, which I stayed at year before last and it was a horrible place. Had mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Was also not a safe area.

Lived in Bham for 3 years......stay away from inner city. Find a nice place off I-459, 280 South or suburbs.
