It really isn’t beneficial. Sure it looks good, but we make roughly the same playing a g5 at home than we do a P5. So in the long run W’s mean more than having a P5 at home.

We're way past the point of looking at whether 2 for 1 schedule deals are beneficial or not...lots of peer G5 schools do this and have grown from it...or UL can continue to circle the drain of horrible schedules and fan apathy

Fan apathy is a completely separate issue. There has been near zero effort in fan cultivation at the student level for 30 years. That’s why we don’t have a fan base.

Our core base was built in the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. That is why we have a dwindling fan base. We had goals and were driven to achieve them back then. We dared to be brash and announced our intentions.

Now we act like Punxsutawney Phil, scared of our own shadow.

There were more oilfield companies buying corporate tickets in 2011 than some realize. Especially true for service companies. I worked for a producing company back then and Was able to get approval for 25 of them. Those days are not coming back. We need to cultivate interest in medical and IT communities now.

You also don’t get paid much if anything for the 2 games you go on the road in those deals

If we don't have a 2 or 3 for one deal with a p5 why does everyone assume it was an administration choice not to. Who would force that p5 to engage? Could there be other factors preventing the deal from getting done?

Standard Opp for Maggard...he refuses to pull the trigger on any 2 or 3 for 1

We do not have a North Carolina or Wake Forest near us. TSATB is not coming, Texas A&M is not coming. They are the closest to us. Who do you think would come here that will bring people and would excite our fans? You have to look at the geography, meaning colleges around a college, it is much different between us and an App. You have to have someone willing to come here.
