My understanding is Dr. Maggard was told he will have to keep expenditures around $32M to $33M this fiscal year. That number puts UL back at the bottom 3rd of the SBC again, just ahead of ULM and Ark St.

I'm intrigued how the document immediately goes to "University" as the acceptable reference for Louisiana, but on any other venue Martin Hall can't seem to deviate from UL Lafayette.

This past year Tesla reduced prices several times, sold a record number of cars * and had their most profitable year to date.

So we lower prices and get the Feds to also hand out subsidies to encourage more people to buy football tickets.

And I’m not saying C4L is completely wrong in questioning why we are so high for some things vs our better revenue peers (like App St), but applying what happened with Tesla sales is a ____ poor comparison.

Just curious, how does everyone feel about taxes? You think we need to pay more taxes? Or we need more people paying taxes?

I think there’s never enough money to pay for everything people want and need. You have to have a prosperous middle class that doesn’t look for government handouts to pay for their wants.
