But it’s the RP way to just take something that isn’t true and come out guns a blazing. All I’m saying is that two people are saying one thing cause of their sources and the other two who are actually a part of the baseball program are saying they’re wrong. So who is really wrong here? Come on now doo doo…
You know what? That gets me thinking. Maybe PooPoo needs a RP account.

So free football could get 45K into Cajun Field. The concessions alone would be worth millions.

Let's say softball has around 700 season ticket holders( I could be a little off) and they raise the prices $100 per ticket. That will generate $70,000 more to the budget. That is assuming every single ticket holder will renew and you know that will not happen. Depending on where you sit you are looking at anywhere between a 25% to 100% increase on top of the second highest priced tickets already. $70,000 more in the budget would be useful but comparing it to the big budget programs it doesn't really move the needle much. Raise it $50 per seat and that only increases it to $35,000. Are you saying that much more money would get us to the WCWS so that we can continue to compete against bigger budget programs? We will never be able to increase our budget to keep up with the SEC. You also know that.

It shouldn’t be free. I’m not saying that. But when you begin to get a negative return by the increases what are you going to do? Keep pricing out more people?

What’s more important? A larger crowd, better atmosphere or more people who stay home and watch it on TV

I still haven’t seen anywhere, outside a new stadium for football, are we raising prices, or reseating.

I guess I’m in a fortunate enough position to know some of the same people as Melrock and BOP, and none of them say there are hikes are reseating coming, again outside of Cajun field.

If Cajun Field was free I don't think we could get a sell out crowd.

It's coming sooner rather than later.

Just curious, how does everyone feel about taxes? You think we need to pay more taxes? Or we need more people paying taxes?

Courtside tickets for basketball did increase this year, sort of--they increased the amount of RCAF general fund donation required--the ticket and donation requirement equate to $2000 per seat.

This is the model they are moving to--increase required RCAF general fund donation for premium tickets--this will be for football, basketball, baseball and softball.

They have also implemented the Lagniappe club--access to food/beverages for each of these sports. Football will have a suite for members to access. Basketball will have the end zone access for food/drinks. Baseball will have the access but you will not have to pay separately for the food like you do now. Softball will have a suite for this. This access will come with premium seating fee or a min $15k donation for lagniappe club
