There are plans to reseat the Tigue. And then Lamson. The person in charge of doing the reseating told me specifically, to my face, a few months ago, over beers, exactly what, how and why it would be happening…

I don't think there is an argument about whether or not it will be done, it is what is the time frame. JW and MelRock are saying nothing is imminent and C4L and MAT are saying in the very near future (which could be from 1 year to 3).

I think both could be right, it might happen, but might happen in 3 years.

If I had to bet money on it, I’d bet year 3. But it shouldn’t be done at all.

Some of those people do not understand what makes baseball and softball great. They will never get it, because all they see is $$$.

The more fans they run off the more money they will have to squeeze out of the remaining fans. Then we will end up with an atmosphere like basketball or football. Passive participation from the people watching the game.

Last thing I’ll say about this is, there is absolutely a plan to reseat the spring sports to maximize premium seating. Whether it’s done in 3 years or 10, to say there isn’t a plan to do it is absolutely false. And it will cost us fans when it happens.

The last time people told C4L he was wrong about a big project, he ended up being dead on. The fallout was Farmer fired and the Tigue project saved. Hopefully enough outrage will get the right people asking the right questions.

I only joined the conversation because I knew for a fact misleading info was being posted, whether intentional or not. This is actually one of the many reasons why I posted the “They’ve given up” thread.

Happy football season to you all. I respect those that continue to fight. I’m sure I’ll see you guys around the complex.

But - why re-seat at all? There is a natural turnover already and the market/prices can dictate the rest. It's absurd to even think about clearing everything out and starting from scratch. Just dumb. That's the day I'll hang it up for sure. As long as I'm willing to pay the market price, I want MY seats and MY people around my seats. If they don't get that, I'll give it up.

Who sets the market? That’s the correct question to ask.

Did we sell out our season tickets this year? I don’t think so. Will we next year? Doubtful.

So instead of decreasing ticket prices and increasing ticket sales. They will re-seat and price increases to cover the losses.
