I have no clue. I had a discussion last night and asked the question if we "are re-seating baseball any time soon", and the answer was no. We will have to re-seat football the next two seasons.

C4L is correct that reseating is coming to the Tigue. Time frame is not known because the person talking about it was non-committal, obviously knowing it will create a big backlash. It won’t be next year but my opinion is that it will happen within the next 3 years.

Hey guys, I just got back from the future, year 2040.
Hate to break the news to everyone, but here is what was going on at the Tigue in 2040:

A baseball season ticket in the year 2040 costs $10,000 and there were only 8 people in the stands. I overheard a conversation between the athletic director and the head of the RCAF that 2 of the 8 season ticket holders were not renewing next year, so the cost of a season ticket will be going up to $14,000 for the 2041 season.

Sodexo still had the food contract for concessions and were struggling to serve the 8 people in attendance.

Even the homeowner behind center field is doubling the price of watching from his roof.

Go to your account manager, look at your invoice, and go to last season's invoice. They are the same.
That's what I thought. I just checked my account and no increase in fee or tickets. I'm not sure where all this is coming from, maybe it was about a discussion going forward in replacing revenues lost. Either way, a few people have decided to take a giant crap on this athletic department on the board.

Now back to regular scheduled programming!

Then the guy who is going around to the money guys in RCAF needs to clear it up. Because this is what is being said “Reseating is definitely going to happen and benefit structure will be overhauled. Again.”

That is nearly verbatim from the horses mouth. Specifically baseball.

Well, you and MelRock need to compare which horse you're riding.

Messaging matters. Does the department need to make up for shortfalls, yes they absolutely do.

But when it gets rolled out at the last minute…AGAIN…they will lose more fans. Which has become quite the norm.

What's getting rolled out at the last minute? Your original diatribe didn't say when, but most immediately took it to mean it was happening for next season.

If it's three years down the road (as someone else suggested) that's far from last minute.

You know that it won’t be discussed, just like everything else that has been mishandled.

So you’re starting a crap storm cause of what you think will happen? That’s always good. This whole thread was unnecessary.

Uh, oh. It's a CDS epidemic.

Well, my horse just told me (five minutes ago) there are no plans to re-seat Russo Park.
