I know you know what’s going to happen. It’s not for the upcoming season. It will be following this upcoming academic school year.

2:00 PM on a Weds. and no one answers the phone at the ticket office. Fitting.

There have been no discussions about re-seating in the near future. They will be re-seating the football stadium for the next two seasons. There is no desire to re-seat any other venue during that time period. Interestingly, this came up today because I had this discussion last night at dinner.

This info was from the horses mouth. I sure as hell hope he was brainstorming and not serious.

Thanks for clearing that up. I thought it was weird since renewals already went out and I didn't get the point of re-seating from scratch... and would vehemently oppose any re-seating of the grandstand. Would P!$$ a LOT of people off...

I have no clue. I had a discussion last night and asked the question if we "are re-seating baseball any time soon", and the answer was no. We will have to re-seat football the next two seasons.

C4L is correct that reseating is coming to the Tigue. Time frame is not known because the person talking about it was non-committal, obviously knowing it will create a big backlash. It won’t be next year but my opinion is that it will happen within the next 3 years.

Hey guys, I just got back from the future, year 2040.
Hate to break the news to everyone, but here is what was going on at the Tigue in 2040:

A baseball season ticket in the year 2040 costs $10,000 and there were only 8 people in the stands. I overheard a conversation between the athletic director and the head of the RCAF that 2 of the 8 season ticket holders were not renewing next year, so the cost of a season ticket will be going up to $14,000 for the 2041 season.

Sodexo still had the food contract for concessions and were struggling to serve the 8 people in attendance.

Even the homeowner behind center field is doubling the price of watching from his roof.
