Baseball is self - sufficient. It's about baseball being viewed as the cash cow to fund the other sports. It's not about being a state school or competing with MS State or LA State in the regionals. How often does LA State or MS State reseat their grandstand?

2nd edit: Part of this decision would be inability to keep my current seats AND the people in nearby/adjacent seats. The idea of clearing the grandstand and re-seating the entire grandstand is just dumb and will alienate many. On the bright side, should be plenty of walk-up tickets available!
Agree on clearing the grandstand. If you want to raise prices do it gradually and let the market dictate the outcome.

That’s how we think because we’ve made a living in the private sector. Where supply and demand mean something.

That'll price me out of 106. I'm not bitter, but it is a bit of a headscratcher. You're giving every single season ticket holder in the grandstand 3 options: renew at higher rate, move to bleachers, watch for $5/month on ESPN+.

Hope they make the bleacher prices/packages appealing otherwise option 3 will look really good to a lot of folks unfortunately. Dangerous game the decision makers play.

It's not even that from what I'm understanding... NO option to renew for anyone. TOTAL clearing of the grandstand and re-seating all available seats... just like we did several years ago. From scratch. Gradually raise prices/requirements... OK. Fine. Market will dictate.

TOTAL clearing of the grandstand and starting from scratch. Mind boggling why they would do that and unacceptable - and I'm done in that scenario. Based on what cajun4life said... this is what is coming...

Oh wow, I misunderstood. Lol what are they doing? Holy ____.

Edit: Also misunderstood C4L's deets message. Won't necessarily get priced out, I initially read that as season ticket seat prices doubling.

But yea, reseating. What they doing????

Hope administration didnt take this decision lightly. When the time comes, wife and I will discuss. Potentially going to be a tough pill to swallow after being a grandstand ticketholder since 2003. Many have been for much longer than I have.

This decision will definitely affect how I support football. If baseball goes, football is a no brainer.

Are we bringing 15,000 per game?
