I could have sworn I went to Pete’s two weeks ago and was told it was an hour before my order would be ready because the kitchen was so backed up. Good thing nobody was eating. It would have been a longer wait.

. . . when is the last time you heard anyone say “let’s go drinking at Pete’s” . . . you here “let’s get lunch at Pete” or “let’s eat at Pete’s tonight” or “let’s get a burger at Pete’s” . . . Pete’s is a place to eat and take your kids . . . it is just not a bar . . .

There was a group of about 40 school kids from San Francisco in there eating the other day. So I guess it IS a restaurant. But also a sports bar too, I guess.....The San Francisco 40 minors.
