I'm trying to do catch up work fir a couple of kids. The previous staff didn't really do much to put the kids out there. That's one of our priorities.....along with getting a bunch of W's in the win column. Thanks for everyone's suggestions! Much appreciated!

This is my 2nd year coaching, so I'm new to this. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.
C4L and 71 both have excellent suggestions. A couple of tips on sending film: Highlights are nice, but coaches want to see complete game film; make sure your video for any player you are trying to help out includes at least one complete game. If your player is likely a D2 or FCS player, concentrate on promoting him to those schools as much as possible. Cooperate with other HS coaches that you know, share contacts with them, and if one of your college contacts is looking for an OL prospect and you don't have one, refer your contact to a HS coach in your district or among your HS contacts who does. The value of networking cannot be overstated.

Ha. First of all there were no summer prospect camps on campus at all when Jordan was coming out of high school in any sports. 2ndly even today basketball doesn’t have many on campus prospect camps. That is mostly a football thing only. Basketball players get seen more in AAU than anything else today.
