Big power puts on a great public face, but don’t believe them. A few summers ago my brother’s summertime electricity bills were under 20. Now, since he is classified a producer (anyone who “sells” electricity back to the grid), the fees pretty much put him back near square one range.

That’s just nonsense. Of course the consumers don’t have a voice in the matter.

Absolutely correct. The post hurricane system repair bill has him considering buying a few more panels, a wrecked EV car for the battery and telling his supplier bu-bye.

It’s as asinine as buying a vehicle then later having to pay monthly to have the heated seats operable.
