Thread: Parking for Football 2023

    Default Parking for Football 2023

Have they done away with the free parking across the street from Cajun Field? The website says there will be no parking outside of Cajun Field. Anyone have insight on the parking situation for this year if we want to park for free?

To my knowledge, that area across Congress is still free parking.

It's not so much having to pay to park, it's that it's less than a month before kickoff and nothing is being promoted

I guess with mobile ticketing they don't want any walk-ups. No where for walk-ups to park? WTF.

Season ticket AND RCAF parking pass holders only encouraged to attend?

So no fee parking is the only way this will work.

At least the lot will get filled.

I would guess they are going to condense the RCAF lots and bring the the over flow in the gates.

What happens if a student bus rider leaves their car there since the prior school day? Maybe stayed up burning the midnight oil in library or friends dorm? Does it get towed?

Average Lafayette citizen hates paying $2 for parking at Moncus Park.

Let's get more people to the games by forcing them to pay for parking. Maybe we can add a toll road on Cajundome Blvd for people passing by who might think about glancing at the scoreboard

With these idiots in charge and this miserable home schedule, 12k average attendance this year

I’m actually most concerned about the mobile ticketing. Like…how does that work for walk ups?

They should be more clear on this. You can't use gate 5 unless you are parking in the what I think is the band and media section. We park in F right there by the Cajundome and they wouldn't let us in last year to park.
