Man, if that roster doesn't say LOUISIANA, then nothing does. 62.2% of the team is from LA 84/135. That is awesome.

And with some home talent mixed in there also. STM, Teurlings, Carencro, Loreauville, Acadiana, Cecelia, Southside, Eunice, Opelousas, Erath, Franklin, Churchpoint, St. Martinville, Catholic - New Iberia.

They come from NW LA, NE LA, SW LA and SE LA. Love this.

No doubt it is sweeter when local talent shines at the local D1 university, and if we can do it with a local kid as the head coach and a renovated stadium, then the fan base really has zero excuses not to support.

When CBN got lots of Louisiana and local talent it was putting a fence around the state before he won. Now CMD is being questioned about state and local talent. We all understand the need to win, show some respect.

You are correct there was a time that the hardest thing for this school to do was to keep local D1talent here. If you remember in huds first few years much of talent was from Mississippi. He and then Napier changed the perception of this school amongst local and in state recruits.

Yes and yes. Watched a little bit of practice on Friday from what I could see in the numbers I know they were the same.
