I was there. Watched the video on YouTube last Friday. We had a respectable game; kept Alabama out of the end zone most of the game, but their kicker didn't miss: five field goals, if I recall correctly.

The Alabama tailgators had a good time. They made it a point to let us know that we were a lot nicer to them than LSU fans.

I was student at that one. I had a fun pre game tailgating. At game time all by buddies left the house and walked to the game. I hung around and waited for my new girlfriend at the time who had to go to NOLA that morning for a class. Because of that I got to the game after kickoff at sometime in the first. Man was I p___ed at her. I was so freaking P'ed at her that 5 years later I married her. I did however have the priest add into the vows that she could no longer plan things on cajuns home football game days. True story. OK maybe not the official vows but he did say it during the ceremony for everyone to hear.

I attended their game in BR the next year when they won the NC. They were definitely a powerhouse at that time (before they hit a lull in late 90's pre-saban)

Not on home football game days. Thats at most 6 Saturdays out of the year. Now a days with mid week home games even less than that.
