    As a professional salesman, it is imperative to have prompt responsiveness. If a customer calls or writes me, I answer or respond asap. This doesn’t change whether I’m on vacation or it’s a holiday. I answer EVERY phone call, even if it says scam/telemarketer, because you never know in sales. That response time is frankly unacceptable.

    Everybody deserves time away from work. If this is what happened, the fault for this snafu is not necessarily with this guy. There should have been a contingency play in place to deal with donations while he was unavailable.

    True should have had a backup and an away message with backups email ....keeping up with emails was always part of vacation...didn't mean I could do anything but forward email to others

    I emailed RCAF earlier and for a response within an hour or 2….
