Had lunch there today with 5 friends. We all agreed the best bet is to order by phone, go to the drive through window and pick up. The food is excellent, but everything else you'd want in a place to eat is abysmal. Not one of us will be back inside. Parking was a problem, No AC, food took a long time to get to us, toilet seat slipped off, noisy. Yikes!

I have not had the chance as of yet to support Shane, plan on doing this hopefully this weekend, but please everyone continue to support him if the food is good. Things like fixing a toilet seat and AC can be fixed with customer support. The more money Shane can make the easier these improvements can be. I would also recommend that if you have had a good experience please post it on Yelp, Google and Travel Advisor so more and more people will support him.

Dave's right...good google and yelp reviews are gold to a new business... If you expect 5 Star dinning, by all means try the Petroleum Club or Ruth's...if you want to support Shane, who's giving his dream a go and is starting out in a tough environment, then support him...ask him about catering 1st game tailgate...

Am good friends with one of his competitors in the catering field. Not having a FBO that functions is crippling, my friend had a situation where he lost his location due to a fire next door. Barely survived, kept it going out his house. Needs to address the AC thing yesterday, hope it’s not a case of something overlooked from the get go.

Scratch Farm Kitchen had the same problem. That's the reason they are leaving.

Is it cash flow or landlord stalling?

New businesses often have a problem with both.

Many of these leases, the landlord puts the onus on the tenant to maintain if not replace the HVAC. That building may have a substandard system and when you start firing up grills and equipment, it can overwhelm that interior pretty quick. Many companies are also putting time limitations that employees can be working in the attic and most won't have guys in there from 11 A.M. to sometime after 5 because of the heat so you can imagine the challenge to schedule. Hopefully Shane has the funds to repair it if its broken.

Did he give you an opportunity to join the MBB staff?
