Thread: Shane's on Pinhook

  1. #1

    Louisiana Campus Shane's on Pinhook

I had the chance to go try out former UL lineman Shane Vallot's restaurant on Pinhook for lunch. Food and service were excellent. Interior is decked out with UL/Cajun murals and decor. Will definitely be going back.

Just wanted to share with everyone on here that may not have heard or realized he opened up a restaurant (in addition to the catering business he runs).

    Link to the menu

It's on the corner of Pinhook and Butcher St, across from the Petroleum Club building.

Glad you posted this, I have been wanting to go since I heard of the opening. I am glad you gave this review.

We should all support Shane and his efforts, a real Cajun if I have ever seen one.

A coworker of mine went this past weekend with his family and they loved it as well. Shane is a local Ovey Comeaux High Spartans. Then of course Ragin Cajun

The family and I had the chance to eat there a few weeks ago, and the food was excellent.

If you want some good food and support one of our own, Shane’s is the place to go.

Can't wait to check it out!

Y'all remember when big Shane got that standing ovation when he was pulled in that blowout victory. Only time Ive ever seen a Center walk back to his sideline like that.

Next time I see a SBC visitor asking for food recommendations I’ll try to remember Shane’s. Will also give it a try next time I’m in the Hub City

    Me, too!

I am a little confused however. Is it a burger? Is it a quesadilla? Is it a taco?

Doesn't really matter though. I'm gonna try it all. Menus looks fantastic.

Somebody tell Shane to open early on Gamedays. Lots of good Tailgate options.
