You are probably correct but I have heard what what is being said on here also about the QB play at practice. But I could not see Coach making a reversal at this point on what was announced about the position at media day.

Yes only 3 weeks of the off season that started in January and goes until August. Unfortunate timing on the surgery the week before spring ball. Can’t plan that sort of thing.

If someone only has a physical injury, and not a disease or a condition, i.e. if I just break my leg, am I really described as not healthy?

You do not have to be a football scholar to know that, that sort of information doesn’t need to come out until after camp. There are several reasons why. Here are just a couple. Number one being open competition makes everyone involved in the competing better. Another what if your back does have the obvious, to your entire team, much better camp and deserves the starting job? If you don’t make the announcement in July you are not in a predicament.
