Same here...had it done on 7/20..bone on bone, no meniscus and a large amount of Arthritis....I went with Dr.Kyle at LOS, mainly because he's a DVM as well...gets better everyday, but this first week is a mo-fo...

Wishing all you guys well. Know multiple people with knee replacements. Summer is a better time for the replacements, not dealing with the adjustments to cold at the same time.

Derail #2. Had my knee done in DFW on June 28. I cannot lie, the pain the first few weeks is excruciating. Starting week #4 today. HUGE strides have been made. Very little pain meds needed, if any. I use a cane (because wife). Killing PT, flexion at 107 and getting better. If you need it, do it but be prepared for 2-3 weeks of ridiculous pain... all good after that. My 2 hip replacements were childs play compared to the knee.
