    The rss feed is dead.

Without an RSS Feed news organizations have to actively search you out.

When the rss feed was working MSN and Fox and many others like Yahoo would pick up stories from Louisiana's PR department.

Without an active rss feed the stories are effectively hidden from exposure to anyone not already actively following the program.

Is that something the university should be able to fix on its own?

    I think so.

I looked at a half dozen other schools that use the same system as UL and they were all working.

An rss feed is not meant to be read straight up. It has a lot of underlyingcode that feed readers can tranlate.

Here is the Universities web page directing media outlets to their various rss feeds.
