As an additional aside, Columbus would be a pretty nice place to go to college, particularly for women, especially because of Columbus Air Force Base. It also happens to be a very good party town which attracts lots of weekend male visitors from MSU [26 mi] and Alabama [59 mi], both easy drives from Columbus.
Mississippi University for Women...admitting men since 1983. The twins' mother is an alumnae.

Most SLC schools play several non D1 games. Otherwise they would be constantly on the road. Several SBC schools played 4 non D1 games last season. Some were severe mismatches. App won a game by 80 points last season. SBC is moving to reduce that number going forward.
