This was from 2019. A lot has changed since then.
Still a ton of Acadiana-area businesses heavily supporting oil & gas operations. Deepwater GOM has seen upticks recently, and the Permian Basin is booming. Lots of companies along the US 90 Energy Corridor have large yards and facilities in the Midland-Odessa metropolis.
I'd like to see numbers on median home price.
The health sector will continue to grow in Lafayette, as many people come here for healthcare. This is why a medical school at UL just makes sense.
Speaking of the medical industry in Lafayette, UL will be opening its Health Science Campus next month. The location is on St Mary where the newly acquired property is located. It’s a start.
In the process as tenants move out.
