The RCAF announced the election of a new slate of officers as well as five new members of the Board of Directors.
Louisiana's Ragin' Cajuns Athletic Foundation announced Friday the election of a new slate of officers as well as five new members of the Board of Directors.
Cindy Cobb takes over as Chair of the RCAF Board, while Todd Trahan and Ryan Pécot were voted as RCAF Board Vice Chair and RCAF Board Secretary/Treasurer, respectively.
Elliott Myers will serve on the RCAF Executive Committee as Jonathan Lucroy, J.D. Morein, Patrick O'Bryan, Jason Patout and Brett Venable were added to the board.
The RCAF Board of Directors was established in 2009 with the purpose of supporting the University and Athletics Department in its mission to build authentic relationships that provide the resources to enhance the experience of Louisiana student-athletes.
"The RCAF Board of Directors are extremely gracious with their time and talents," Deputy Director of Athletics and RCAF Executive Director Trey Frazier said. "The men and women that make up this group are crucial to the RCAF's ability to provide the UL Athletics department the financial resources to create an exceptional student-athlete experience. I am eager to work with this new group of officers and board members to continue to grow support for the RCAF."
The Ragin' Cajuns Athletics Foundation is the official fundraising arm of Louisiana Athletics. RCAF members assist in generating revenues for three main purposes: offset annual student-athlete scholarship costs, provide financial resources for capital projects such as new state-of-the-art athletic facilities or renovations that enhance existing athletic facilities and enhance sport specific operating budgets.
