I firmly believe we haven't seen our best days yet and the future is extremely bright!
I am also very happy each of these men are part of our staff, our culture and our community.

I appreciate the analysis. However, they are not coaching individually. They are collectively coaching a team of players. It's different than giving individual pitching or hitting lessons down at the cage. I think its a pretty salty combination. FWIW, I believe Gunner could get a ton of interviews for open D1 pitching coach jobs, probably some P5 jobs. He's Gunner Freaking Leger.
. . . we have a star cast for the show . . . let the show go on . . . post season two years in a row . . . we com’n . . .
Good point, Jerry. The SBC is one salty baseball league.
It is REALLY difficult to become a paid assistant coach at the D1 level. It just became easier with the 3rd paid assistant, but before that it was really tough.
I truly believe Gunner will excel in his role, but make no mistake, he got this job because of his ties to the program and to Coach Robe's pitching style. However, I don't think there were a ton of D1 programs knocking down his door, as someone with little to no coaching experience.
. . . really . . . every job a candidate gets at any place or occupation is somewhat dependent upon characteristics that applicant has which are inherently favored for the particular job . . .
