No additional price for printed tickets. What’s so hard to understand about not averaging 40% capacity? UL needs to be focused on getting everyone they can. Fans don’t need UL sports. There’s already more football than they can handle.
It goes back to my original premise on our fan complaints: the school created an entitled fanbase by giving away too many freebies for decades. And there was never a natural evolution of pricing to where fans could adjust. It was just “BAM! Here are the charges!”
With that, it’s about implementation. If you’re going to overhaul something like this, it better work flawlessly come September 3rd. Remember when the credit card machines were down due to bad reception a few years back which extended concession lines? Yeah, let’s not hope it’s a repeat with this.
The natural, migration should be printed tickets cost a little more.
OR
Digital tickets cost a little less.
The transition would be easy peasy lemonade squeezy.
I think it's to get ready for the new stadium, so they have time.
Having said that, pulling the rug out from under a decades long method, never goes smoothly.
They better proceed and change this for corporations.
Give them paper tickets.
