The strategy was to give him enough rope to hang himself. And he did. He proved that everything we ever say about those people is exactly correct. Countering with in-depth facts and history would have been a waste of time. Staying on my toes and dodging incoming fire was top priority. Standing up to a bully is not about winning the fight. It’s about resistance. We did that.

He claimed that we got into the baseball regional because of some guy on the selection committee was from Louisiana without realizing our record and RPI was good enough.

He also claimed that we can’t use “Louisiana” simply because Louisiana State wins championships as if that has anything to do with how another school brands itself.
