Thread: It’s time to brand a classic clean L

To me, all we are doing with the FDL locating the city is branding UL Lafayette.

Why would we ever want to highlight the city tag of our name?

All these designs are great, but anything with something inside of the state outline are probably too complex for a hat or shirt.

    . . . Glasco is already sporting a shirt with something similar . . .

    Looks good!

I’m still all in on the L buffering the West portion of the state. That one was the cleanest IMO.

Not to the rest of the world.

Its New Orleans first for many.

The SLI seal was published in 1926 or thereabouts. Featuring numerous FDLs.

Designed by Tulane if I'm not mistaken.

I don't know if you saw the picture I posted recently of CajunFun and Bustle cleaning up at the Swamp?

Joe (CajunFun) was sporting a numerous FDL cap.

The same, three FDL design was on the 1997 football helmets.

Me too. These are beautiful and reminds me of the midfield logo from the early 90’s. Although I think the only way those would look good on helmets would be an oversized logo like the white FDL helmets. My suggestion for a helmet logo would be the arched script Ragin Cajuns over the smaller FDL. Could you make that logo m$m?
