Thread: It’s time to brand a classic clean L

All the current identities and motifs are nice, clean and well done.A lot of the graphic redesigns suggested are underwhelming

The more you have to explain a logo the less it says. No doubt the silhouette of the state without an L says it all,c’est fait tout. The FDL in Lafayette area and it’s done best to me.

The current interlocking UL was stolen from the Louisville band, except I don't know if stolen is the right word since they did quit using it.

    Not very creative definitely fits.

That's redundant. The FDL IS Louisiana.

All we need is my avatar or the official FDL from the university.

These are some of my not so professional works of art. I tried to take everything that people are suggesting and turn it all into one.

To me, all we are doing with the FDL locating the city is branding UL Lafayette.

Why would we ever want to highlight the city tag of our name?

All these designs are great, but anything with something inside of the state outline are probably too complex for a hat or shirt.

    . . . Glasco is already sporting a shirt with something similar . . .
