Now This!! He is right, just like the FDL, or the iconic G many different athletic teams use similar logos. It is no different ! LaTech does not own the outline of the state. Just like The Saints does not own the FDL. If that is the case we are more copying Northwestern State then LaTech

Do the Pelicans copy Louisiana and The Saints?

Y’all are making this way to difficult !

Found another University that also uses the state. Man we just copying every University in the State. UNO also uses a FDL. I guess we got to do away with the FDL.

Still don't agree, sorry. Less than 20 years of consistent branding finally catching on, just don't think it's time to introduce a new logo. Especially one so similar to the iconic Louisiana Tech logo, which is the main differentiator of every other example you provided. Tech's is iconic.

So the state on his pull over that Glasco wore during the Regionals you do not agree and that logo should be taken off of any University apparel because it looks like Louisiana Tech ?

Sorry I am not trying to come off as snarky!

A plain FDL on his pullover would have been cleaner. But yea, I’m a fan of sticking with only Ragin’ Cajuns, Louisiana, FDL, and in time the interlocking UL.

Enough with the Tech BS. The Saints had it first with your logic.

Thank you! Someone with common sense. SE has a state silhouette too.

Where you around in the ‘80s when we had the state silhouette with Ragin’ Cajuns across diagonally in script? It’s never too late.

UL is “technically” wrong. We must move onto the classic L. We will have to agree to disagree.

In da womb. I have a hat or a koozie with that retro logo on it though. Look, we have a million battles to fight as a fanbase. Officially adopting a state silhouette logo is at the absolute bottom of that list to me.

There is only ONE Louisiana . . . While there is a Louisiana Tech and there is a Louisiana State University, there is only ONE Louisiana . . . that one Louisiana should be branded by the L and silhouette of the State of Louisiana . . . We are the only LOUSIANA and when one looks at our brand, it should SCREAM LOUISIANA . . . what more to scream Louisiana than the silhouette of the state . . . Get’r DONE . . .
