It's literally the beating heart of the campus.

For those that don't know, I'll bet they can guess which school faster from a FDL than from an L.

The only way you can take all guessing out of the equation is to write "Louisiana" on the helmet. Kinda hard to fit that on there.

The best "L" is an outline of the State of Louisiana.

"L" is boring. "Ragin Cajuns" is unique. FDL is unique. "LOUISIANA" is unique.

Walking through the bookstore at LSU a couple weeks back, ballcaps with “L” all over the place.

Oh, speaking of bookstores run by Barnes & Noble for attire and paraphernalia, the one inside Baton Rouge’s student union has really good stuff, and lots of it.

So apparently B&N CAN do a good job, but someone needs to EXPECT them to do a good job. I’m guessing someone with authority at whichever university they’re operating on.
It’s never too late, runner. I couldn’t care less what TSATB does or markets. This is about the Louisiana brand moving forward for eternity.

I’m ok with the use of that as long as it doesn’t look cheesy. It really needs to have a Blue Blood feel to it.

I’m not sure a big L, T, K is a great choice. None of those sign to me. For some reason G does. Maybe because of Greenbay Packers and Jawja gets a pass.

CAL is great looking. For decades, and that says a lot about me, I thought Berkeley was just a radical leftist university. Then I realized that they were the CAL Bears.

How about your avatar or an outline of the State with a blue blood "L" font embedded.

The Arched Ragin' Cajuns on the helmet. Good to Geaux since 2002.

Even Tillman couldn't make it clean.

As for the "L" talk, I'm all about the simple outline of The Great State of Louisiana. LSU has gone nuts getting worried about our branding efforts with "Louisiana". They're gonna have a heart attack when they see us throw up a straight up State of Louisiana outline.

This is exactly what I tried to do. I don’t like the way it looks. The L is to big and bulky and the design isn’t there. It has to be slimmer. Maybe if you put a border or something but trust me I have messed with it countless times.

So I tweak it made it slimmer with a border, I even tried slanting it. To me it looks good on a hat.

It has to be simple !

    Think Texas, Oregon, Florida.
