This is one that got away. Drafted in the 8th round by the Yankees. Great kid from a great family. Would have loved to have seen him play for Louisiana . . .

Nicholas Judice out of Catholic BR in baseball and Griffin Hebert out of STM in football were both huge misses by Louisiana out of the 2019 class in local recruiting. Both of them wanted to come to Louisiana . . .

Griffin was at Tech in 2018. He got 2 Jr years due to covid. He would have been recruited by Huds staff until Dec of his Sr year. He wasn’t Huds type and probably not on his board. Was he already committed to Tech when Billy took over in mid December? Maybe a timing thing?

Correct. I’m confusing my reference to my 2 boys. Griffin was a 2017 grad and wanted to go to Louisiana. Judice was a 2019 grad and wanted to go to Louisiana.

Both are or will be in the pros now.
