Yes I do the administration has dug this hole and they need to figure out on how to dig themselves out.
No one said it would be easy.
. . . so, no blame for the fans or those who have chosen not to be attending fans . . .
Nope ! If I had a business and I lose business is that fault of the people that spend money at that business, or the people who run the business ?
If my livelyhood is based on blaming people for not coming to my place, instead of figuring out why they are not coming and implementing change I be out on the streets.
. . . that’s my point . . . when fans are more interested in excuses than being fans . . . Are they really fans . . . and will they really come because a line might be shorter or a burger might be better or a beer might be colder . . . well maybe I’ll give you the last one . . .
They are not presented in a power point presentation but there are usually ideas that can be, expounded on or a much smaller version given consideration.
At the very least you find what is important to various portions of the fan base.
Not everyone who walks into a department store will want the same thing.
I think the problems are way more complex or more serious then not getting a cold beer, or a hot hamburger.
I think “The University” has figured out how to drive away the average fan into not showing up, and better figure out marketing, promotional, whatever strategies on getting them back.
The trend is we have lost 1/4 of our fanbase in 5 years.
Might have a tougher time then Bud Light on getting them back. Lafayette community once they lost interest they are done.
All you got to look at is the restaurant industry in Lafayette. Within the first month place will be packed if they are terrible no one will show back up and will be put out of business.
It’s almost impossible for a restaurant to make it back if they do not show out in the first month.
Okay I sort it from highest to lowest on the 5 yr average and edited it.
