. . . I guess you calling the 20 or so who post here the fan base . . . those are generally the cheese eaters, not the fan base . . .

The "silent" majority never grew a fanbase.
I ran the numbers in January of this year and in 2022:
A total of 367 registered RP members posted at least once.
3,125 members logged in and visited.
Many many more just visited but I have no way of knowing who were registered and not logged in, or never registered and just visiting.
. . . I would guess that 20 posters post about 80% of the posts here . . . posting once is not much better then not posting at all . . .
Wake me up/ ring the bell/ sound the alarm when MARLIN is replaced.
Until then I am ALMOST UNINTERESTED in UL Basketball.
Any progress that was made last year was ABSOLUTELY in spite of NOT because of Marlin!
The 2 NCAA appearances and NIT appearance are accomplishments to appreciate. But when the other 10 years consist of average finishes, it’s not a natural surprise that people don’t jump on board.
Build off of this past season, and you’ll see an increase in support. Go back to average finishes, and you’ll see the Cajundome fairly empty.
With your proclivity to post I can see your view.
And is probably partially true, but leaving viewers out, or discounting them as non fans comes across as agenda driven.
Earlier in the week you were claiming UL only had 7,000 fans and today that RP only has 20 participants.
Agenda sounding.
Well, this article disagrees with you, bigly. Check it out.
