Thread: Ragin' Cajun Tennis #11 mid major recruiting class

  1. Default Ragin' Cajun Tennis #11 mid major recruiting class

This is actually significant, being that they only have 2 recruits coming in and the foreign-born player is supposed to be better than Mason Landreth, who just had a really good weekend at a tournament. The reason this is significant is because if everyone comes back from a 12-10 team from last year, we will only be missing 1 player and that player is Kacper Dworak who is now an assistant coach for the Cajuns. Samuel Kyjaci a player from Slovakia has multiple wins over top 50 ITF ranked players and was one of the top ranked juniors in his home country. Including winning the National Championship in Doubles and runner up in Singles. If everyone that is expected to come back does the Cajuns will return starters:

    Vasil Dimitrov
    Alejo Ferrer Chueca
Karlo Kajin (who rebounded nicely in 2023 after having an injury plagued Sophomore campaign.
    Calen Postea
    William Ribero
Alejandro Sanchez Gonzales who missed the end of the year with an injury.

    and most importantly

Orial Fillat Giminez who missed all of 2023 with an injury.

With the addition of Samuel Kyjaci, Grant and Mason Landreth, Evan Edwards and Thom Garbarino, this is a very good and deep team. Now again, much of this will depend on who returns. I am sure with the depth that this team has, we could end up losing a player or two to the portal.
