Did I totally miss the part in the article where they stated what it would be used for? Hope its more than a venue for "Sugar Jam" or whatever they call it.

I've said it for years. Lafayette could use a smaller version of the Cynthia Mitchell in The Woodlands. I'm sure someone has thought of this also and Lafayette / Louisiana politics got in the way.
