    ESPN is finding out that "big name" announcers are not what brings in the revenue.

    The sooner as they figure this out with the P5 the better.

    Seems like they have the technology to speak directly to the coach on the field without a sideline reporter.
    Also I think we could survive without talking to the coach during the game. They seem to either lie or say nothing most of the time.
    Baseball announcers seem to get by just fine without a sideline/dugout reporter

    Unless you’ve been there or work in the medical field, when somebody dies/ crashes, it all moves so darn fast. It’s not something they teach in journalism school.

    I agree which is why I was asking. What did he expect them to say or do?
