Yea I was thinking she and Jordyn Cambell would leave due to reduce playing time before Cambell's play at LSU regional. Hate losing players but it is now the nature of the business.

Good, while she is not the best defensive player in the world, her bat is top notch. We just need to find a place for her. I think she would make a pretty good 1B, unfortunately that spot has been taken over by a true freshman that could end up being an ALL American one day.

Like it or not, this is the reality. She is leaving because she didn't see a path to playing the majority or full time. This is a good thing, meaning we have some very talented young ladies on the roster.

It is a totally different story if we lose Landry, Allred, Davis, Piskos, Riassetto or Langeliers.

I don't think that is the case, Sophie was hurt for a big chunk of the season that was why she would out for a big portion, that and while she is a good catcher, she is not as good as Valdez defensively.

My daughter took hitting lessons from Sophie and I don't claim to know her that personally, but I have met her and spoken to her quite a few times, she seems locked into being a Cajun!!!
