USM Gets New Turf

Interesting story: For the past 10 years, USM did not have the C-USA emblem permanently painted into their turf. Instead, they chalked it on every home game.

They recently replaced the turf, with a permanent conference logo.

the last turf was paid for with insurance money from a tornado that passed though campus, they also updated some dorms and other buildings on campus with those dollars
