I have never been a fan of modern country music. I do like Johnny Cash and Merle Haggard, etc., But I just stumbled across this fella, Zach Bryan, and let me tell ya, I'm digging him a whole bunch.

Anybody have any suggestions for similar artists?

Check out Charles Wesley Godwin. Zach Bryan is a big fan and brings him out on a good bit of his tours. Let me know if you dig this, and I’ll suggest some more. The junk pumped out on the radio aside, country music is actually rich with great stuff right now.
