Commitments in June are always nice. It gives your program recruiting momentum and good press. But you are correct, commitments aren't binding and August is a long way from December signing period.

It's common to see commitments from the skilled positions early for the Cajuns because DL/OL are premium and hard to get commitments early because of the interest from other programs. They are usually the most volatile commitments.
